John landed three Moloka’i Bonefish today and had a long distance release on a fourth that came off about ten feet away, a fifth one broke off when he came tight and discovered his flyline was under his foot. These were the largest bones he’d ever caught, so he was a very happy angler, TYJ
These two couples scored on a mixed bag today, fish from the bottom, Uku, Ta’ape, and Papio. On the way out lost a small mahi close to the boat, but caught a Kawakawa, and on the way in connected with a nice 18lb cow Mahi. Happy anglers with a lot of action, including the 25…
Last quarter fishing in some very cloudy conditions which finally opened up to nice sunshine revealing these two big Bones, caught within ten minutes of each other. Both fish were in the 7-9 lb range.
George was about to call it quits today because of the heavy cloud cover, but, was finally was able to connect on a cooperative fish today. TYJ
Steve and his dad Larry, from Canada, were able to land several nice fish today, an Omilu and a Whitey, both promptly released to be caught again another day.
Khuram was able to land his first Blue finned Trevally (Omilu) caught on a fly.
